Special interests:
Kerry loves working with children of any age and in all aspects of child development: babies who require early intervention, children who are showing delays in their development and are having difficulties achieving their milestones; children who may have a neurological or genetic condition; or children who are having difficulties with their higher level gross and fine-motor performances. Kerry holds a specilaized interest in working with children who have significant disabilities and highly complex presentations.

Kerry's early roots working in private musculoskeletal (sports and "back and neck") physiotherapy practices are drawn on during every session! Good movement cannot happen without good alignment and musculoskeletal integrity! From difficulties with posture or a painful back/neck to hypermobility or sports injuries, Kerry enjoys this area which is integral to nearly all her clients!

Long Covid & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome:
Kerry's has personal experience of guiding her own child through Long Covid, accumulating a vast knowledge from practical experience, research, attending courses and through targeted discussions with paediatric professors & consultants in neurology, haematology, respiratory, cardiology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and immunology. As this is a condition requiring a specialised team approach, referrals are made to Long Covid Clinics where requested or recommended. Kerry runs both remote and in face-to-face Long Covid consultations.

Qualifications:
After graduating with an honours degree in Physiotherapy (WITS University, South Africa,1999), Kerry worked in musculoskeletal/sports and children's physiotherapy practices. She additionally voluntered in the neighbouring township of Alexandra in their special needs school, and completed her postgraduate qualifications in Bobath / NDT therapy.
Kerry moved to the UK in 2003, and enjoyed undertaking paediactric locum work for 6 months before receiving a coveted and privileged position at the Bobath Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy in London. After 3 great years there, Kerry started her own paediatric physiotherapy practice in South West London, which grew quickly by word of mouth to be an 8 strong team with dedicated premises. Kerry's love in her work, however, was with being hands on with her little clients rather than managing a business, and so, with the practice being so successful and growing even bigger still, she sold the practice in 2015 and refocussed on working hand-on with her clients.
